Sunday 26th July
Our lovely guests from last week went home yesterday - see them on their holiday below. John drove them to Bergerac and then stayed overnight as he was doing the Bergerac triathlon today - mad fool that he is - in temperatures of 35+ degrees (no wetsuits then!).
So as I sat in the courtyard last evening, toute seule, enjoying a relaxing glass of chilled white, I thought how amazingly blue the sky looked and how 'flory' was Mas de Flory - and just had to take some pics!

If you're considering one of our late summer breaks - either cycling, walking or the wine tour - there are some great low-cost flights to be had at the moment for September and October:
From either Gatwick or Bristol to Toulouse (with Easyjet) and and from London Stanstead or East Midlands to Bergerac (with Ryanair) are all around £65 return or less!

The Observer newspaper (5/7/2009) features Lot Valley Cycle Route
The route starts in Cahors and is 160km long.
Our bike routes use this on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Friday 12th June - It's 10.30 am and already 26 degrees and beautiful sunshine. The meteo is promising a scorching weekend with temp's up to 35 - bring it on!

Friday's cycle tour follows the Cahors Wine Trail.
